BUZZING, DRONING, CLICKING, SWELLING

2021-2022

The pile of wood in BUZZING, DRONING, CLICKING, SWELLING comes from a felled ash tree and a hornbeam. In 2021 these had to make way for project development next to my studio. In exchange for sandwiches, a high-rise crane operator moved the trees onto the low-loader of sawyer Eva Westra, who sawed the logs at her outdoor woodworking shop in Deventer. The wood has been drying in the studio garden and saved from the biomass incinerator for the time being.
