TYPOLOGY OF AN IDEAL LANDSCAPE
(2011-2018)

Typology of an ideal landscape is a series
of paintings, each 1.60 m wide and 1.20 m high. Paper cut-outs from travel brochures are affixed to canvas. These fragments are (partly) covered by monochrome acrylics, which connect them. Layers of paint cover the original landscape images while at the same time creating a new landscape.
